NEM Philippines and Malaysia provided Train-the-Trainers Workshop to ICCT Colleges

Last January 10-11, NEM Philippines and Malaysia visited ICCT Colleges to provide a Train-the-Trainers workshop to trainers and professors of the institution. Since last year, a number of universities and colleges have started to adopt blockchain technology, offering it to students as an elective course.

ICCT Colleges, located in the province of Rizal, Philippines, is a tertiary education provider that offers courses accredited by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Department of Education (DOE). The institution also issues industry accredited certificates.

Ivy Fung, NEM Malaysia Technical Trainer, and Alex Batongbakal, NEM Philippines Technical Trainer, tapped topics about the fundamentals of blockchain, how it works and what its advantages are in various aspects such as businesses, processes, and more.

Although there are no exact details yet as to when ICCT plans to launch their blockchain elective course, the students are already looking forward to learn more about the technology and apply it in practice.
