First fast food joint to accept digital currency XEM and launched its NEMburger

Melbourne now has the very first Aussie fast food restaurant to accept XEMs

Burger Love, Melbourne’s “branchise” (a model between franchise and independent), has recently adopted the growing rave on cryptocurrency as it announced that it will be accepting XEM payments, becoming the first of its kind to accept said top ten digital currency. Now, their loyal fans, the #burgerfamily, and tech-savvy holders of digital currency will now be able to directly utilize their coins for payment in exchange for their favorite gourmet burgers from the South Melbourne branch.

Steve Agi, Head of Marketing and Branding of said restaurant, stated, “Cryptocurrencies are the future of trade. It is a fascinating concept that our clientele is ready on board with and we’re ready to stop watching from sidelines.”

“We are giving our customers the freedom to pay with currency of their choice, which is telling of how we like to approach customer experience at Burger Love,” said Agi.

The restaurant is expanding its gourmet burger menu to include NEMburger, in celebration of the launching of its newly-welcomed payment option. It is a soft burger bun with noodle crusted fried chicken fillet, egg, mozzarella sticks, cheese, chipotle, and barbeque sauce. It is part of the regular menu which costs 23 XEMs or around AUD 16.
