Students of University of Makati had a Technical Workshop on Blockchain Technology

Since last year, more and more institutions are collaborating with NEM for workshops on blockchain, in preparation for the offering of blockchain as an elective course. Last January 16, 2019, NEM Philippines conducted a seminar to students of the University of Makati, with the purpose of offering the same syllabus soon.

Present during the event were 37 students whose ages range from 18-20 years old. Alex Batongbakal, NEM Philippines Technical Trainer, offered an introductory presentation on blockchain, giving them a glimpse of how it works and operates. He also provided a hands-on activity that engaged the students with in-depth knowledge about the technology.

With the increasing demand from institutions to offer blockchain courses, NEM Philippines holds the honor of being part of the process of conveying not only the technical knowledge to professionals and students, but also the message of reaching success as an individual and community by possessing a heart for innovation, such as blockchain.
